Status of STRY conducted by Punjab
PAMETI assesses the need for imparting skill-based trainings to rural youths and develop curriculum of skill training in accordance with the requirement of agro-based industries and also seeking involvement of specific organizations in selection of potential candidates. Nodal Training Institutes (NTIs) are selected on the basis of infrastructure, availability of resource persons and availability of the trainees. At present there are 43 NTIs working in collaboration with PAMETI. These includes, ATMA, Dairy Training Centres (DTCs), FASCs, Pvt Universities etc.
