Post Graduate Diploma in Agricultural Extension Management (PGDAEM)
PAMETI is entrusted by National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE), to conduct this one-year diploma in Agricultural Extension Management for the public and private extension functionaries to enhance their techno-managerial competence.
- This is a one year course offered in two semesters each having five courses.
- The programme includes project work and is supported with printed reading material, contact classes and e-learning resources.
- The contact classes and exams are organized at PAMETI.
Who can apply:
- Government Extension Functionaries graduated in agriculture and allied sectors and currently employed in the departments of agriculture/ allied sectors, SAUs, KVKs, or ATMA.
- Private Candidates who are graduates in agriculture, allied subjects and other graduates working in Agri-business companies, NGOs, Cooperatives, FPOs, Agri-enterpreneurs and Input Dealers are also eligible.
How to apply (18th batch (2024-25):
- For Government Employees, the applications have to be submitted through their immediate controlling authorities under NMAET.
- For Private Candidates, the applications should be submitted directly to PAMETI with a fee of Rs. 15000/-.
PAMETI is organizing this diploma since 2007-08 and has enrolled 178 candidates till date.
